The pairing of Terry & Brookmeyer was made in jazz heaven. The second set done in features the "Clark Terry Big Bad Band" with veteran soloists like Jimmy Heath (ts), Richard Williams (trp), Horace Parlan (p) and Grady Tate (drm) with several arrangements by Ernie Wilkins (ts). The band lives up to its billing and swings effortlessly/5(5).
